So… about those missing posts. 👋
The past two months have been a full-time job of lying very still in very loud machines. EKG, EEG, MRI, X-rays, EVOKE, EMG, sleep study, allergy panels, more blood draws than I can count, and a few tests I’ve already forgotten (which, honestly, tracks).
A month of chronic migraines and cluster headaches landed me in the ER, and I am now the proud owner of a giant oxygen tank for cluster headache attacks. She’s like a creepy roommate in the corner, but she works.
On top of that: insomnia is back with a vengeance, courtesy of perimenopause hot flashes. (Also, WHY does spellcheck not know that perimenopause is a word in 2026?? F the patriarchy.)
All of this means my brain gets tired fast, screen time is limited, and the activism hat has had to come off for a bit. Not forever. Just for now.
This isn’t a call for sympathy, just an explanation for the quiet, and a heads-up that things are moving slower than I’d like.
I have THE BEST support… is an exquisite caregiver, is a unicorn of a friend, and are just … I can’t even tell you how much these people have done for me in the past two months.
OH! and despite all of this: the Grift Deck is STILL coming. Months in the planning, nearly ready to launch. My brain may be running on fumes, but it’s still plotting. 🃏
