The NEA ESP Conference 2026 was excellent! Attendees from all over convened to share with and CELEBRATE one another. as well were in attendance and represented our New York locals well. Shout out to Angie Rivera for being nominated for the ESP of the Year Award 🥇. We are so proud of you! While a great time was had, we left acknowledging that there is still so much work to be done. The fight continues.

The Secretary Chapter was well represented at Functional Chapter Weekend 2026. Our Chapter leader, Sheryl Pender graciously explained how “multifaceted” a secretary has to be in order to perform well on a daily basis. Our impact is great and all in attendance at Functional Chapter Wknd left enlightened after Sheryl’s speech.

Brooklyn’s Secretary Meet and Greet was a whole vibe! Secretaries from all over the borough came out for an afternoon of networking and engagement. Rich conversations were held. Best practices were shared, and as always new connections were made. The evening was a total success!
