Miss really good Latin food? Want to expand your palate and view of New York City? Then come join the LSSC DEI committee's Latin Food Crawl in Astoria, Queens! Meet us in the NYU Liberal Studies Building on April 30, 2022 at 12:00 PM and tag along! For this event, we are partnering with Mama’s Empanadas, Villa Brazil Cafe Grill, and Parceros Bakery to deliver you a diverse and high-quality selection of Latin foods from various countries. Interested in Study Away? Come to our Study Away Discussion Panel to hear students talk about their experiences studying abroad. The panel will kick off Global Opportunities Week, and will be followed by a series of panels designated for each study away site!

Please join Inter-Residence Hall Council (IRHC) on April 14th from 6:30-8:30pm in Palladium's Multipurpose Room for a program about how to identify and use your MBTI type presented by Claire Austin. There will be free food, games, and giveaways such as Beats Headphones, Apple Airpods, and a Mini Projector! It is open to all NYU students so bring your fellow eboard members and friends.

The LSPC is excited to announce that we’ll be hosting the LSPC Mixer for students interested in our club or politics on Friday, April 8th (around 5-7PM)! This will be a laid-back social event for you to meet other students interested in politics and government from the LSPC and other clubs! We’ll have a variety of fun activities, including Jeopardy!, cards, and board games, as well as free food (and maybe some merch!) for every attendee!

Last week there was a display of anti-abortion images in front of the Bobst Library that were graphic, incendiary, and triggering to our university's community. We plan to gather this Thursday to demonstrate that NYU stands for the autonomy one undeniably deserves to have over their own body. Please join us on the last day of Women's History Month to rally that women's rights are human's rights, but more succinctly that reproductive rights are human rights. Bring a sign, bring a friend, and bring your voice! We will also be distributing free contraceptives.

The recent uptick in anti-Asian hate and violence has left members of our NYU community unsettled. Please join us for a gathering in support of the Asian community at NYU on Wednesday, March 23rd from 5-6 PM EDT.Click this link to register for this gathering.This virtual gathering is organized by NYU’s Student Government Assembly, the Division of Student Affairs, the Center for Global Spiritual Life, and the Office of Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Strategic Innovation.
