Join the North Fork Arts Center for an engaging and informative evening with renowned author and New York Times reporter Nick Corasaniti as he presents his new book, I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME (Harper Collins). This captivating oral history delves into the story of the legendary music venue, the Stone Pony, and chronicles the rise, fall, and rebirth of Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Corasaniti's work features insightful interviews with iconic musicians such as Bruce Springsteen, Steve Van Zandt, Southside Johnny, members of the E Street Band and Asbury Jukes, the Ramones, the Jonas Brothers, Jack Antonoff, and many more. Discover the rich history and enduring legacy of Asbury Park’s music scene through the voices of those who lived it.

The Q&A will be moderated by Jim Rutenberg, writer at large for The New York Times & New York Times Magazine, providing a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the stories and anecdotes from the book, and will be followed by a book-signing reception with beer & wine available for purchase.
