Classes, After-school Programs, in-school workshops, and birthdays/events. Bitty City Players celebrates the unabashed creativity of a child’s mind, and we are not afraid to be silly. We want each child to experience the joy of self-discovery, while learning to work supportively within a group. Players explore a variety of theater disciplines, scientific topics, and sensory acitivites, through games, directed play, and performance. As teaching artists, we do not “talk at” children; we connect to their experience, we listen closely and guide them. Our Players will learn to better express themselves, and will gain confidence when interacting with their peers, their families, and the city around them - and they will have fun! Our classes will help to set the stage for a lifetime of creative thinking, curiosity, and interest in all of the arts and culture NYC has to offer.
