Let’s talk about play dates. Anyone else have a little shell shock about how little kids actually PLAY when left to their own devices?! When I was a kid - can’t believe I’m saying that - we rushed straight up to the bedroom and the imaginative play locked right up from the last time. These days it would just be non-stop Nintendo were I to let em free. I was surprised at how cool they were with a mandate to spend the first hour doing something hands on - they picked chess and sword fighting - and earned some Zelda before playground & tacos. ♟ ⚔️ 🌮

I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but moving day was a dream. In classic neuleaph fashion I chose , not after a deep dig into reviews or forums, but because I remember Mark and his family from my long ago Red Hook playgroup days, when they were a new green moving company using reusable boxes and sustainable practices. Everything they accomplished yesterday was awe inspiring - watching them move our entire backyard with ease and smiles, finding creative ways to get the giant pots and windy vines in the truck, they even asked where each plant should go. A new home for neuleaph and our fam…and another little green space to live, beautify and share. 🪴 🌱
