It's our favorite week of the year: Teacher Appreciation Week!!! A special shout out to all the amazing educators working day in and out as REAL heroes making a difference in countless children's lives!

This week, Teachley Cofounder, Dr. Rachael Labrecque traveled to Capitol Hill to meet with members of Maine's Congressional Delegation to discuss elementary mathematics and the effectiveness of high-impact tutoring on student learning.

Earlier today, Senator Susan Collins referenced Dr. Labrecque's meeting with her staff and called attention to the critical importance of continued funding for education research amongst other vitally important issues during the confirmation hearing for Education Secretary nominee Linda McMahon.

Teachley was founded by educators and moms so teachers hold a special place in our hearts. This time of year, we often find ourselves reflecting on how fortunate we are to have so many incredible educators in our lives. We'd like to express our gratitude to the many teachers who put their trust in Teachley Math, a program that can provide all children opportunities to demonstrate success in math.

For generations, phrases like, "I'm not a math person", "I can't do math", or "math is boring" have plagued math education. We're committed to doing whatever we can to help all children build positive math identifies and feel proud of their math knowledge.

We humbly thank all the educators who trust us to help support their classrooms this year. Wishing you all the very best this holiday season!

Teachley Cofounder, Dr. Rachael Labrecque recently had the pleasure of visiting elementary schools using Teachley Math for the first time this year. We're thrilled that when given a choice amongst several math programs, the majority of 4th graders selected Teachley's Market Bay game. One girl said, "I really like that it teaches me real life skills, like buying and selling. I like to save all of my money, too."

Grateful for the opportunity to return to Iowa and see Teachley Math in action at elementary schools! AND spend a day presenting and learning new math ideas alongside two inspiring 3rd grade educators, Jenn K. and Kim H. from Rock Run Elementary, a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School Awardee at the Iowa Council of Teachers of Mathematics conference!

We've had a wonderful time traveling throughout Iowa to provide training for teachers on early mathematical development and how Teachley Math Intervention can deepen engagement, support a wide range of learners, and help with small group instruction.
