📍 "Building a Community Vision: The Road to Central New York Academy Charter School"

For over five years, the 100 Black Men of Syracuse Inc. and Higher Learning Network Inc. have led an unwavering effort to bring to life a transformative educational option for the youth of Syracuse. From early surveys and Zoom forums to community town halls and public presentations, this journey has been about one thing — empowering Syracuse families through education.

📚 The proposed Central New York Academy Charter School represents more than just a school — it's a pathway to academic excellence and life success, modeled after the highly effective Harriet Tubman Charter School in the Bronx, NY.

🚀 The nonprofit charter management organization, HLN Initiatives Inc. (a part of the Higher Learning Network umbrella), will lead the school's daily operation and oversight.

📅 In April 2025, HLN Initiatives Inc., alongside local education stakeholders, will submit a full application to the SUNY Charter Schools Institute. But after years of commitment, collaboration, and clear need, the Syracuse community’s patience is wearing thin. The time is now to give our children the school they deserve.

🎓 Our children cannot wait. Syracuse deserves Central New York Academy Charter School.
