Hey everyone…hope all is well with you!

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we’re reaching out to ask for your support. This is our first time making an appeal like this, but we’re doing it because we’re building an exciting 2026 full of programs for creators of all ages, including film production, screenwriting (English and Spanish), stop-motion animation, experimental filmmaking, screenings, project funding, and more.

We want to remove barriers so our community can focus on growing their skills and telling their stories. To do that, we need your help.

If you can, check out the link below and chip in. Also, share the campaign with your contacts and socials. Every contributor receives a tax receipt for donation. Let’s make 2026 an amazing year for indie filmmaking in the Bronx!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Crewing Up: Directing - A Bronx Frame Event, hosted by The Bronx Filmmakers (TBxF) and the Andrew Freedman Home.

We’re especially grateful to our incredible panelists: Danielle Alonzo, Eric L. Jimenez, and David Zayas Jr., all Bronx-based directors working across film, television, and theater. Their insights, generosity, and honesty made the conversation truly meaningful.

Together, we explored the value of collaboration, the drive needed for self-motivation, and the powerful reminder that it’s never too late to start your creative journey.

A huge thank-you to our audience of filmmakers, actors, directors, and those aspiring to enter the industry. Your presence, questions, and engagement are what make events like this so impactful.

We’re excited for more conversations, more opportunities, and more Bronx voices shaping the future of storytelling.
