Daily writing prompts are rolling in. Start off this summer slide activity by picking a journal or folder that you and your child will share your writings in. Each day you can talk about the prompt together and then set a timer for 5-10 minutes to write down what the prompt Inspired you to think of.
For younger children ages 3-6 you may want to be your child's scribe and have them dictate their response to you as you write for them. To enhance their handwriting and writing practice, leave space under each line you write so your child can copy word for word underneath you.
