Has Allah SWT forgotten about me?

I know this isn't a pretty thing to admit… but I also know a lot of us are feeling this way after divorce.. like our faith took a hit right alongside our hearts.

Feeling lost. Feeling like maybe Allah forgot about us.
Sis, you are not alone in this. So many of us have sat in that same dark place, wondering where our peace went.

But here's what I keep coming back to..

Allah doesn't abandon the ones who turn to Him, even in their weakest, most broken moments.
Even when our faith feels shaky, He's still holding us.

I pray Allah grants our hearts peace. I pray He grants us ease. And I pray He never abandons us. Ameen.

Healing your faith after divorce isn't instant.. it's a journey.
Lean on sisters who get it.
Lean on prayer.
Lean on community, because we were never meant to heal alone.

Before you walk away.. ask yourself this. 👀

Is it a pattern or a season?

A season is temporary. Work piling up, sleep off, not feeling himself. We've all been there.
A pattern is consistent. You saw it once. Then again.

Then someone else noticed too. That's not a rough patch. That's who he is.

One question could save you from walking away from the right person.. or staying too long with the wrong one. 🤍

He Says He's Religious But Misses Fajr….Red Flag or Room to Grow?

Honestly? It depends.

Missing Fajr occasionally… work, exhaustion, a rough patch?
Feeling guilty. Trying to fix it.
That's room to grow.

Missing it consistently.. no effort, no accountability, excuses?
That's not room to grow. That's a pattern.

The real question isn't "does he pray Fajr."

It's: does he care that he's missing it?

A man serious about being a good husband is serious about Allah first.
Don't ignore the pattern just because the label "religious" sounds good. 🌸

It's not about perfection.
It's about consistency.
A man who shows up for his salah will likely show up for his responsibilities too.

You weren't born a people pleaser.
You learned that keeping other people happy was the safest way to survive. 💔

Not because they're weak.

But because at some point.. that was survival.
You learned to read the room before you even learned to read a book.
That tool served you then.

But you are not that little girl anymore.

You deserve to take up space. You deserve to have needs. You deserve a love that doesn't require you to disappear to keep it.

Mahar was never meant to be a competition or a price tag on a woman's worth..
It's a right…gift, a symbol of commitment

It should be reasonable and based on what the husband can actually afford without hardship. If you don’t match on that it’s ok…try to agree and if not…walk away.

Let's bring back arranged marriage…no seriously.

No, not the kind where your mom matches you with your third cousin.
I'm talking about the kind our grandmothers had the right... community-based introductions.

The kind where your married friend says, "Hey, I know someone in my husband's circle who'd be perfect for you."

Where your aunty introduces you to someone from her side, not because it's forced, but because she knows you both and sees the match.
We lost this when we started doing everything "on our own" swiping through apps and all...

Bring back the village. Bring back trusted introductions. Bring back marriage through community, not just convenience.

Why? Cause that is what is missing and why people can't get married…support!!!

🌷Comment "SKOOL" and I'll send you the link to join and get support.
It's the free community that talks real about getting married and shows you how to do it faster.

It will also be your space, your village, to connect with muslim women, learn, and grow before and within marriage this year.
