Report Card: She Talks Too Much

Growing up, my report cards always said “Talks Too Much.”

To all the teachers who wrote that — check this out:
Over the span of five weeks, I’m speaking at five universities.

Harvard Business School.
Columbia Business School.
Santa Clara University.
Hofstra University.
Georgetown University.

Plus podcasts, executive networks, professional associations, Tech Week and more!

That little girl who couldn’t stop talking...
She wasn’t disruptive. She was preparing.

Every classroom that tried to quiet her down was just early rehearsal for boardrooms, stages, and conversations that actually move the needle.

So to every kid out there whose report card says “Talks Too Much” —
Keep talking.

The rooms are getting bigger. 🎤

To my teachers........I’m still talking! 🗣️

Happy Easter to all who celebrate!

Easter is important because it centers on what many Christians believe is the most defining moment of their faith: the resurrection of Jesus Christ—his rising from the dead three days after he was crucified.

Here’s why that matters so deeply:

1. It’s the foundation of the faith
Without the resurrection, Christianity as a belief system doesn’t hold. Easter is the proof point—the moment everything hinges on.

2. It represents victory over death
The story says death didn’t win. That suffering, injustice, even execution… didn’t get the final word.

3. It’s about hope and new life
Not abstract hope—earned hope. The kind that comes after loss, after grief, after something looks finished.

4. It completes the story of Good Friday
Good Friday is the pain. Easter is the turning point. One without the other is incomplete.

5. It’s deeply personal for many people
For believers, Easter isn’t just history—it’s a reminder that:

🙏🏽 failure isn’t final
🙏🏽 endings can be interruptions, not conclusions
🙏🏽 renewal is possible, even when it feels unrealistic

That’s why it’s not treated like just another holiday.

It’s the moment everything broken is supposed to be rewritten.

Becoming a Pharma Sales Rep Day 4: Do You Need a Science Background?

Here’s the Truth

You don’t need a science degree to get into pharma sales—but you do need to think like you have one.

Today’s Tips:

✅ Hiring managers don’t require a science background—they require clinical curiosity and discipline

✅ You must be able to learn complex data, retain it, and explain it simply

✅ Credibility comes from how you communicate, not your degree

Comment “SCIENCE” if you want to know how to position yourself without a science background 👇🏽

_________

Most people get stuck trying to “qualify” for pharma sales on paper.

But the shift happens when you start speaking the language of the role—clearly, confidently, and without apology.

If you’re trying to break into pharma sales, especially without a science degree, you need to understand what hiring managers are really evaluating.

A pharmaceutical sales job isn’t about memorizing drug facts—it’s about how you communicate clinical information in a way physicians trust.

That’s why people transitioning from B2B sales into pharma sales often have an advantage. You already understand complex sales cycles. Now you just need to layer in clinical knowledge and medical terminology.

If you’re aiming for an entry-level pharma sales role or a medical sales representative position, focus less on your background and more on how quickly you can learn, retain, and explain drug data.

Hiring managers want to see that you can sell to doctors—not just sell a product. That requires credibility, discipline, and the ability to simplify complex information.

This is what separates candidates who get interviews from those who don’t in high-paying healthcare sales careers.

If you’re serious about a career pivot into pharma, start acting like you’re already in the role:
Learn the language. Study the data. Practice how you explain it.

That’s how you stand out in pharma sales interviews.

Becoming a Pharma Sales Rep Day 3: Bring Proof — Your Brag Book Matters

Most pharma sales candidates talk about their success.

✨The best ones bring proof.

Today’s Tips:
• A brag book isn’t optional — it’s evidence of performance
• Include rankings, awards, quota attainment, and real metrics
• Show how you think: call plans, territory strategy, and how you influenced decisions

Comment “BRAG BOOK” if you want a template 👇🏽

_______________

If you can’t prove it, it didn’t happen. That’s how pharma hiring works.

Most people ask me about how to get a pharma sales job, but they’re not prepared to show proof of performance.

If you’re serious about breaking into this space, you need real pharma sales interview tips—not generic advice.

A strong pharma sales brag book is what separates candidates who talk from candidates who get offers.

This is core sales interview preparation—because hiring managers are evaluating how you think, not just what you say.

If you want to stand out, you need to understand how to stand out in interviews with evidence, not stories.

That means showing real sales performance metrics—not vague descriptions of what you “helped with.”

Come in ready with clear quota attainment examples that prove consistency, not luck.

This is especially critical if you’re transitioning into a medical sales career or trying to pivot industries.

Most entry level pharma sales advice skips this—but proof is what gets you through the door.

If you’re learning how to break into pharmaceutical sales, start by documenting your wins now.

Your sales resume and interview tips should always tie back to measurable outcomes.

You need to show your results in interviews, not just explain your responsibilities.

This is a long-term sales career growth strategy, not just a one-time interview tactic.

And if you’re targeting biotech and pharma careers, understand this: credibility wins every time.

Because at the end of the day, knowing how to impress hiring managers comes down to one thing—evidence.
