It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our esteemed colleague, CEO, and co-founder, Frank Hardart.

Frank was not just a leader; he was a friend who cared deeply about his fellow team members and our work together. Frank was someone who lived Educate’s values wholeheartedly both in and out of the office. His dedication to our vision of "creating sustainable change and transformation in classrooms" was evident in every aspect of his work. Over the 24 years of his leadership, Frank's impact reached hundreds of schools, school leaders, and thousands of teachers and students.

We invite you to honor Frank’s memory with us by living out his profound sense of conscience, bringing people together to always do what is right and disrupting the status quo of education to ensure that all individuals receive the meaningful education they deserve.

In 2011, in a radio address, President Obama said:

“Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.”

In today's climate, this quote resonates deeply in of lives lost. As we move forward together, let us be reminded that we aim to create positive change in the world through our acts of kindness.

As many are kicking off their year, they continue to be agents for this change, showing up every day, through tragedy and pandemic, to extend this to their students. We are so grateful for the work you do and the commitment you have made to your communities. Keep showing up. #911
