These are my very favorite sight word learning games that are perfect for adding to a center or playing in a small group! I love how games help my students connect with and remember these important words.💡👏 Check them out here 👉 https://bit.ly/489ZIPZ

If you’ve ever seen students say something but not show it in their writing, these descriptive writing cards help bridge that gap. They prompt kids to think beyond obvious words and really paint pictures with their language. That shift — from telling to showing — is where descriptive writing starts to feel like real expression.
These cards are especially helpful during writing workshop or small group lessons when you want to build stronger word choice and sensory detail. Students begin to notice what makes a description vivid and memorable — and that confidence carries into everything they write.
The bonus? This writing is FUN...and even the most reluctant writers can produce some really great writing which, of course, builds motivation and willingness to write!
Ready to use and super easy to drop into your plans. Just check the link in my profile for details.

♥️
You don’t need more ideas.
You need better questions.
That’s exactly what S.C.A.M.P.E.R gives you.
Most teams get stuck because they ask:
“How do we fix this?”
But high-performing teams ask:
“What can we change, remove, or rethink?”

😅 Silent E is always at work! If you’d like a 🆓 one pager with all the info, comment JOBS!
🤯 That silent E doesn’t always make the vowel represent its long sound (magic e). If that’s all we teach, our readers are going to struggle to read words like: love, sponge, bubble, house, are, etc.
Did you know all of these jobs? Let me know!
