In 2026, we will continue to provide financial assistance for our campers, quality art supplies and instruments, and programs led by accomplished educators — everything that makes Trust Tree a magical, memorable experience.

Happy Giving Tuesday, y'all! 2025 has been a year of ups and downs for Trust Tree and we are leaning on our community more than ever.

This summer marked our 9th year uplifting girls in Central Arkansas through music and art and we achieved our highest enrollment (53 campers!) ever.

At the same time, new executive orders imposed restrictions on the use of funds for programs such as Trust Tree which center the experiences of girls and gender expansive youth.

We are so proud that we have never turned away a camper needing financial assistance to attend our programs. And yet, at a time when families are needing more help than ever, we fear we may have some tough decisions ahead if we are unable to meet our annual fundraising goal.

Welcome to our Songwriting + Art Camp! 🎶🎨

Last week, we kicked off our two-week creative adventure! Campers are spending their days split between music and art all while building confidence, expressing themselves, and learning the power of collaboration.

🎵 In the music studio, campers are working towards the goal of composing an original song- solo or with a group- by the end of camp! Melanie Castellano, Correne Spero (our hero), Brie Boyce, and Hope Findlay are leading campers through an exploration of a variety of instruments and key aspects of songwriting.

🎨 In our Rockstar Regalia art sessions, led by Crystal C. Mercer, campers are drawing inspiration from iconic rockstars and artists while experimenting with different art styles, fiber materials, and techniques to develop their own unique rockstar looks!

We can’t wait to see what they create! 💗
