This year marks a particularly special moment as The School of Media Studies co-hosts the 70th edition of the Flaherty Film Seminar, taking place June 26–29, 2025.

These students will join a small, international cohort of Flaherty Fellows, gaining access to a unique professional development experience shaped by mentorship, curated programming, and collaborative engagement opportunities during the renowned Flaherty Film Seminar.

1. Dean of the School of Media Studies, Vladan Nikolic‘s short film, "Everything That Will Happen Has Already Happened," is set to screen at the Beirut International Women’s Film Festival on April 30, 2025.

2. On May 8, 2025, Hanoi University will celebrate 18 years of the Media Lab project, a milestone in an ongoing academic collaboration that began in 2007 with support from the Fulbright Program and The New School.
