Since March 2005, Options for College has been helping students get into and get the most out of college. Our program, The Way There aces the admissions process systematically while creating expectations and reducing stress. The three phases of our process, Collection, Selection and Application, cover not only the basics of admissions, but also get students more excited about college education and their futures. We actually make a lifelong commitment to our students through our alumni program, Sic Itur Ad Astra, where we provide monthly newsletters for finding careers while assembling an internship and professional network for our students. That is the hallmark of our students, that they continue to come back to discuss their futures long after they aced the admissions process. We are not headhunters, but we did figure out admissions long ago, so we want to make sure our students do so much more than just get into college. Beyond the thousands of students we have counseled from all six continents, we ran the guidance programs at the Rudolf Steiner School and the Yeshivah University High School for Boys, founded the Johns Hopkins' CTY College Prep program, trained counselors at The Princeton Review India, the Rochester City Schools and the Christian Unified Schools of San Diego. We received the Multiple Task Award Contract from the NYC DOE and have worked with multiple districts in the City. We have also keynoted admissions conferences at Yale, Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Columbia, Wesleyan, Emory, Cal-Berkeley, Vassar, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Young Presidents' Organization, the Merrill Lynch Parents Network, the NYU Family Care Center, Bank of America Wealth Management, the Stuyvesant Parents Association, the Summer Institute for the Gifted, the Scholar Search Association and the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education. Our experience derives from a professional counseling staff with Ivy League admissions (Yale, Harvard, Columbia) experience and certifications in educational planning. The first step is an Initial Consultation, which is easy to schedule – just call 877-OFC-INTL (877-632-4685) at any time of day and we will schedule you to begin.
