Professor Agostino Capponi is a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE), the highest U.S. government honor for early-career scientists and engineers.
Capponi has developed groundbreaking frameworks and tools to mitigate risks and enhance the resilience of engineering, financial, energy, and supply chain networked systems. In recent years, his work has leveraged advancements in AI and technology to design digital networks and automated platforms that reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and democratize access to financial services.
As director of the Center for Digital Finance and Technologies, his work is driving innovation at the intersection of engineering, finance, and technology.

Senior Mori Liu BC’25, a researcher in Harry West’s innovation workflow project, has won the prestigious Joni Madison Diversity Prize at the Out for Undergrad Digital conference!
