Bon appétit!

The undergraduate Class of 2026 celebrated their achievements last week at the annual senior dinner, which took place in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

“We are lucky, as Columbia Engineers, to have such a strong community. You have made memories that you will remember for years to come,” said Dean Chang in his remarks to the seniors. “But your time at Columbia is not over yet! There’s time to create more memories. Perhaps strengthen or even begin new friendships -- and prepare for the next chapter of your life!”

We hoped you enjoyed your night! Stay tuned for more tasty surprises.

60+ projects. 200+ students. One unforgettable afternoon.

The 2026 Senior Design Expo is in the books! This showcase serves as a culmination of all the coursework done in the past 4 years, where students have the opportunity to form a team, research an existing problem, and then design, build, test, and showcase their inventive solutions.

Through these projects, our students become young engineers, confronting the challenges of the world today and learning how to address them. Thank you to every mentor, faculty, and group partner who helped turn years of coursework into real-world solutions!
