Vision Rehabilitation Counselors provide life-changing services for people who are blind and low vision, giving them the resources to find a successful career. It is essential that everyone can be successful in life and get whatever accommodations they need. Vision Rehab Counselor’s put in a lot of work to make sure that happens. We should uplift and celebrate the hard work that they do every day, but especially this week, as it’s until the 14th!

The last Sunday of may marks the start of across Canada. This week, the team at BrailleDoodle.org celebrates the contributions of all Canadians with disabilities, and recognizes the importance of removing barriers and restrictions that any of these people face. While NAAW is celebrated across Canada, there are many other days, weeks, and months throughout the year celebrated in other parts of the world, all dedicated to the need for inclusivity, acceptance, and the recognition that those with disabilities are just as capable as anyone else.❤️

I love this short, simple message from my friend .theblindlady. No, Braille is not going anywhere, and 1000% of those who could benefit from it should be able to learn it!

Video Description- A young woman in a red top is smiling while making and placing a label on her meds. Text says screen readers can't replace Braille 4 times.
