MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Here are the Kavli Conversation dates for this spring! We'll have posters and event pages ready in a few weeks, but for now I wanted to give you early notice of the fabulous program our moderator extraordinaire Robert Lee Hotz has cooked up this semester:
March 6: Geneticist/author Samuel Sternberg and journalist Antonio Regalado on human genome editing.
March 21: Psychiatrist/author Sally Satel and journalist/author J.B. MacKinnon on brain imaging.
April 4: Sexologist/author Anne Fausto-Sterling and journalist/author Angela Saini on the neuroscience of gender, with guest moderator Robin Marantz Henig.
April 25: Conservation biologist/author Joe Roman and journalist/author Emma Maris on the future of wildlife in the human age.
As usual, we'll start at 6 p.m. on the 7th floor of 20 Cooper Square with food and drink, followed by livestreamed conversation at 6:30. You can watch all of the prior conversations at journalism.nyu.edu/kc.
See you there!
