Macaulay's annual Community Service Day is Saturday March 7th and Sunday March 8th!

This year, Macaulay Service Initiative's project is with Battery Park Conservancy.

Volunteers will be helping with cutback with gardeners. They will cut the plant material from last year down to the ground leaving the material to compost in the beds and making room for the new growth to come up. Close-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing necessary!

Our Director of Fundraising application is now LIVE!!

As Director of Fundraising of MSI, you will be chiefly responsible for overseeing the development, facilitation, and success of all fundraising events throughout your tenure. You will work directly with the President to create and manage the budget, reserve rooms when necessary, and carry out the necessary logistics for events prior to and during the night of. You will also be at the forefront of brainstorming what types of fundraisers MSI will host, which organizations we will donate our proceeds to, and ways to ensure that events are inclusive, engaging, and ultimately, smoothly run.

On Saturday March 9th, we will be hosting an event with Alliance for Downtown for Macaulay Community Service Day 2019.

The Downtown Alliance is hosting a compost spreading event in Bowling Green Park. The compost is sourced from Earth Matter and will be transported from Governors Island. Volunteers will help spreading the compost, restoring planting beds. Gloves, tools and lunch will be provided!

The event will run from 9am-11am. Spots are limited so RSVP below!
