Hello, Iām Seungeun (Andrea) Song from South Korea. I love capturing minimal moments in our everyday lives and bringing them into my world of design.
The video in this campaign presents the life cycle of a flower bouquet. Flowers are cut from their roots and put in preservatives to live past their lifespan. When made into bouquets, they come with numerous wrapping papers and ribbons that become useless after the main event. What remains are flowers, waiting for their inevitable death, and a pile of waste. The content of the video was then created into a poster and held in Seoulās biggest, busiest flower market, the Gangnam Express Bus Terminal Flower Market.
Hello, Iām Ying Ying, and Iām from Shanghai, China. I graduated from VCUART with a BFA degree in Graphic Design and am currently pursuing my MFA in Design at SVA.
Book Design: All Plants & Trees Have Spirits
In Chinese culture, the relationship between humans and nature is emphasized as a harmonious coexistence rather than merely an interaction based on interests, reflecting a reverence and respect for nature. I am focused on exploring the interdependence between humans and nature, paying special attention to the central role of agricultural culture in this relationship. Agricultural culture is not just a part of daily life, but also a manifestation of the Chinese peopleās deep understanding and respect for the land and nature. My goal is to explore the impact of this lifestyle on our modern life by studying the way humans coexist with nature, combined with anecdotes from traditional Chinese culture. I create a narrative book around themes such as the Spring Sacrifice, Rain Prayer, Fuxi, and Lantern Lighting, presenting this cultural concept and practice through a combination of narrative and visual art.
Hello, everyone. My name is Youmin, and I am a graphic designerādesigned in South Korea, manufactured in the United States.
South Koreaās path to democratization is complex and often turbulent. What is now viewed as a democratic and economic success story was shaped by a history of authoritarian rule mixed with faint attempts at democracy, despite the countryās official name, the Republic of Korea.
began as a digital poster, created to inform and pay tribute to one of the many pivotal moments in South Koreaās democratic history. The poster features imagery of Lee Hanyeol, a student protester who tragically lost consciousness after being struck by a tear gas canister fired by government forces, never to regain it.
Over time, the project grew beyond its original form. It expanded into a series of infographics and eventually became a web archive, addressing key questions: What is the current state of democracy in South Korea? Is it truly democratic today? Where is it headed? Are the democratic values and principles that past generations fought for being upheld? Can we say with certainty that they are?
Unfortunately, South Korea today faces a political climate defined by division, hatred, and an increasingly unbalanced exercise of power. Deos that mean we are returning to the dark days of the past, when martial law shut down universities, banned political activities, silenced the press, and citizens were brutally suppressed for demanding their rights?

My name is Shuni Liang, currently starting my MFA degree at the School of Visual Arts. Before that, I completed a BFA in animation major at the Savannah College of Art and Design. In previous projects, I explored a combination of experimental graphic design and 3D animation.
This project explores the societal pressures surrounding the removal of moles on the female body. Moles, natural features of the body, often become symbols of patriarchal control, leading women to conform to external beauty standards by removing them. Through this exploration, I aim to uncover how these influences create internal conflict and a loss of self-identity and autonomy. Using the metaphor of the āmole,ā I reflect on the body as a battleground for power and control, examining the deep impacts of societal forces on womenās rights and freedom.
Hi, I am Aimee Chang. As an individual with a background in fashion design from Parsons School of Design, my creative journey has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of innovation and a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional artistic disciplines. Through experiences in fashion, I have discovered a profound interest in harnessing my creative lens as a fashion enthusiast to explore the dynamic realm of graphic design.
This is an editorial concept I have developed from my fashion thesis project in my undergrad. It merges the distinct visual elements of photography and sketchbook processes from my portfolio, presenting a dynamic interplay of textures, emotions, and narratives. Each photograph reflects the raw, unfiltered energy of the design process, from early sketches to the finished garment, allowing the audience to experience the depth and complexity of my work. This curation is an immersive experience that conveys the mood, the underlying themes, and the artistic ethos that shaped my design lens as a multidisciplinary designer.
Hi! My name is Yushan and you can also call me Mint. I was born in Beijing and currently stay in NY.
The Panopticon Handbook is a personal project that aims to teach the readers the concept of Panopticon in the form of an interactive typography-based playbook. Through several simple games, such as password decoding, connecting-the-dots and finding coordinates, people will develop their own journey throughout the history of panopticonāa disciplinary concept thatās still relevant to our current society. I hid several propaganda posters between the pages as if the book was used as a political weapon from a dystopian drama.
We are pioneers. We venture beyond the frontiers of design, traverse divergent fields, and emerge with ambitious enterprises that deliver real value to real people. We are thinkers, makers and doers who tackle every problem from every angle. We are design entrepreneurs.
