We are pleased to offer our next in-person TV/Film Agent Showcase of the year! We've seen agent nights with 4-5 agents present for $200. It constantly seems like some agents aren't looking or are only looking for something very specific. We're actors, we're here for actors and we want to combat and revolutionize this concept so we're putting it to the test. A MINIMUM of 10-12 will be present for showcase.

There's a huge blend of major and boutique agencies. For the showcase, the agents will be submitting you written feedback. Class will meet three times prior to showcase. You will have the opportunity to pick a TV/Film side prior to class that best shows your brand, talent, and marketability. Your showcase will utilize 1 minute of recorded copy and 1 minute of live copy.

Class will be taught by On-Camera Acting Coach Extraordinaire, Ann Hamilton ✨

Class One
You will bring in 2-4 options for Showcase. Working with sides and/or monologues, Ann Hamilton will work with you one on one in a class setting to determine what works best for you as an actor. This class will also feature a discussion on the industry and how you fit in!

Class Two
You will do another coaching session with Ann to perfect your live material for culmination.

Class Three
You will be assigned a 12-15 minute window of time to film your pre-recorded material with Ann in the room coaching.

Culmination
At showcase you'll come into a room with at least 10-12 agents and managers. We will air your recorded sides and you'll perform your live copy with a reader. Following showcase you'll receive written feedback from all industry personnel in attendance. If an agent/manager wants to move forward, they will reach out through TGS and you will know within a very short amount of time who's interested in working with you.

As things begin to pick back up, agents are continuing to have meetings and seek new talent to expand their rosters. We want to get you back on the stage!! 💚

Classes will be taught by:

TGS Faculty Director - Matt Kunkel
TGS Faculty Musical Director - Ted Arthur

Each week students will work on different material, some of their own choosing, some given by our faculty, until they have found the piece/cuts that are going to show them off best. They will present their piece/cuts for over a dozen agencies potentially on Showcase day. Class is a fair mix of business vs. technique. If you'd like more information regarding each class, we're happy to send you a more detailed lesson plan.

Each student will walk away with new rep, a copy of their showcase performance, and a better overall insight of the business.

This four week course will consist of Q&A and one on one feedback with various members of this office.
