Baruch College Democrats

Hey All!

We are excited to announce the launch of the Baruch College Democrats' Discord Server.

The server will be welcome to all democrats, but an especial focus is to be made on making the group welcoming to Baruch students, so that is the demographic which moderation will be aimed at serving.

Therefore, there are a set of basic principles we expect of all participants such as cordiality, respect for LGBTQIAP+ people, respect for feminism, respect for other human beings regardless of skin color, nationality, or native tongue, and so forth.

Following is a link to join the community. We aim to make this as welcoming of a place as possible for all who are interested in politics, social democracy, and the public welfare.

It’s Election Day! If you haven’t already voted, today is the last chance you have to make your voice heard. Be sure to vote for Democrats up and down the ballot! You can find your polling place at vote.org, or on your county board of elections website. You can also drop off your absentee ballot at your polling place. Polls are open until 9pm. Vote!

Sunday June 21st is the last day for early voting! Polls are open from 10am-4pm.

This Thursday @ 12:30 in 14-285 we will be celebrating Halloween with a SPOKE-tacular Debate focused on the 4th Amendment, with regards to Technology and Surveillance.

Proud to stand with PSC today in their fight for a better contract!

BREAKING: Professional Staff Congress protested in favor of a fair resolution to contract negotiations on the second-floor lobby of Baruch College's NVC.

Join us today at 12:30pm on the second floor lobby where we will joining PSC for a protest in support of CUNY adjunct professors! After that we will be holding our regular meeting at 1:15pm in room 12-130.

We had a great time this past weekend at College Democrats of New York convention in Syracuse!
