Instead of investing in CUNY operations, the Mayor’s budget includes a $14.6M (3%) “efficiency cut,” which would make it difficult to rehire 128 full-time instructional staff lines lost through attrition during the pandemic.
Allowing the CUNY cut to stand would undermine the advances made in the state budget; we need to push back. Join us!
