Meet William “Bee” Stribling in September’s #AlumniSpotlight! 🌟 After graduating from TC’s Klingenstein Center Private School Leadership program (EdM ’19), Stribing started as Dean of Students at Moorestown Friends School in New Jersey where he worked with middle school students, faculty, and parents to make transformative educational years the best they can be. In 2020, he joined the Board of Friends School Mullica Hill (NJ) to empower students to achieve their full potential and become responsible global citizens infused with Quaker values in a diverse and inclusive learning community. This Fall, he'll be conducting action research on reimagining transitions in school in collaboration with the Tang Institute at Phillips Academy with the guidance of TC Professor Rebecca Stillwell.

In his free time, you can find him hiking with his family, telling dad jokes, and staying connected to his PSL cohort.

Bee says, “Your time at TC is both foundational and transformative. Live into each opportunity and begin making an impact in your community.”

Divya Sahay shares her #TCReason as an incoming student in TC’s Developmental Disabilities program 🌟 : “TC’s culture epitomizes the ideals of equality and social justice. The interdisciplinary MA program in Developmental Disabilities at TC will enable me to learn holistically and contribute both as a concerned parent of a neurodiverse child in India and as an informed international scholar, advocating social change.”

Say hello to Devna Mehra (MA ‘20) in this month’s #AlumniSpotlight! 🌟 After graduating from TC’s Counseling Psychology program, she worked at Community Counseling and Mediation, a mental health clinic in New York City. There, she provided counseling services to more than 35 clients weekly, from children to adults collaborating with social workers and ACS. Recently, Devna moved back to her home in New Delhi, to support mental health in India.

Devna currently works for an online mental health platform. She spends her free time with her cute French mastiff, Pablo, and her family.

Say hello to Julie (Ye) Zhu in July’s . 🌟 Julie graduated from the Economics and Education program at TC in 2013. Since then, she has worked at two private education companies on international student placement and college readiness before becoming associate director of Admissions at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service. Recently, she landed a position at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), working on statewide course data collection and analysis in the District of Columbia.

Hailing from Wuhan, China, Julie is a seafood-lover, a traveler (pre-pandemic), and yogi. She enjoys spending time with her family, including an energetic beagle-mix and an equally energetic son.

“I cannot be thankful enough for my experience in TC: lifelong friends, supportive professors who instilled in me a real passion for education, and TC NEXT, which helped me land two full-time jobs and an internship!”
