The 2026-2027 PTA and SLT Elections will be held tonight, June 2, at 6:30 pm at the zoom link provided. A motion will be made to certify the uncontested positions. In order to vote, you must be a parent by birth or adoption, legally appointed guardian, foster parent or person in parental relation to a child currently attending PS/IS 78Q, or be an eligible staff member. Your support and participation and greatly appreciated.

Our Middle School Garden is prime for planting another bed or two! Please join us on this Friday (5/29) starting at 2:30 PM after school - there is no minimum age, gardening experience, or RSVP required! Just come join the gardening party! 🌺🍓🫐🥳

We’ve received an amazing number of donations for our thrift pop-up — truly wonderful news for our school community! 💙
A gentle note that we are only collecting new and lightly used clothing for children and adults.
Because of the incredible response, we already have so many donations. We have moved the final donation drop-off date to:

The 2026-2027 PTA election is now open! You can nominate yourself or someone else (they must confirm acceptance). The nomination period will close at noon on May 18, 2026.
Please submit an email prior to noon on May 18th to [email protected]. The election will take place on June 2, 2026 at 6:30 pm via zoom.
All positions are open for re-election. 2 SLT positions, one elementary school (grades 2-5) and one middle school (grades 6-8) are open for election.
Any parent or guardian whose child is currently enrolled in grades K through 7 at PS/IS 78Q is eligible to run.
