Dear Nazareth Community,

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the loss of Mr. Paul Meyerend, a beloved teacher at Nazareth, who passed away this Monday morning. Mr. Meyerend was more than just an educator within our school community β€” he was a mentor, a guide, and a compassionate presence in the lives of so many of our students.

Throughout his time at Nazareth, Mr. Meyerend left a lasting mark on the hearts of those he taught and worked alongside. His patience, kindness, and dedication to his students went far beyond the classroom. He believed deeply in the potential of every young person and worked tirelessly to help them grow not only academically, but as people. The encouragement he gave, the lessons he shared, and the example he set will continue to live on through the many lives he touched.

Though we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the extraordinary person he was and the profound impact he had on our Nazareth family. His presence in our halls, his passion for teaching, and his genuine care for our students will never be forgotten.

In memory of Mr. Meyerend, we share these words:

β€œA teacher plants seeds of knowledge,
With patience and with care.
Though they may not see them grow,
Their impact lives everywhere.
The lessons taught, the hearts inspired,
The guidance through the yearsβ€”
Remain within the lives they shaped
Through triumphs, hopes, and tears.”

Mr. Meyerend’s legacy will forever be part of the fabric of Nazareth. We are grateful for the time, wisdom, and heart he gave to our community.

Please keep Mr. Meyerend’s family, friends, colleagues, and all of our students in your prayers during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

As we enter the season of Lent, we are reminded that this is a time for reflection, sacrifice, prayer, and growth. 🌿✝️

At Nazareth Regional High School, Lent is more than a season it’s an opportunity for our students to strengthen their faith, serve others, and grow not only academically, but spiritually.

"What’s the Tea?" Naz Alumni Edition Hey πŸ‘‹ Nazareth alums! No, this is NOT a donation ask. This time, we are asking alums to simply tell us about YOU! Would it be terribly inconvenient for you to take 4 minutes to answer 10 questions? This is not a quiz; we promise! πŸ˜‚
