Nigeria’s ruling class are used to taking the masses for granted, riding on their high horses, taking everyone for a ride.
If the leadership or rulership of Nigeria; to use a more befitting word, have taken serious efforts to reform SARS before now, we won’t have this protest, and its attendant problems.
If they’ve come all out to address the youth, at the earliest time of this struggle, as expected of a sensitive, sensible and thoughtful leadership, the problem would’ve been nipped in the bud.
Now, it’s becoming rather too late for the rulership, as this simple protest of yesterday is sn*******ng into a revolution. If they couldn’t hold down a stationed trolley yesterday , they can’t stop the moving train today, and this may consume them, if care isn’t taken.
Now that the youths resorted to less prayers and more actions, something is about happen!
At this revolutionary and decisive time in our history as a nation, we join our voice to the movement and pray that our youths will have the courage to push this through
