The Thematic Learning Center (TLC) is an independently owned company that caters to the needs of both children and adults through the Department of Education or the private sector. This includes but is not limited to general education, special education, OPWDD Services (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities), IEP (Individualized Education Program), CPST (Community Psychiatric Support Treatment), Respite Care and Skill Building. At TLC we specialize in Counseling, Psychotherapy and Educational Services. We address social, emotional, educational and psychological needs for children and families. Our mission is to work with our patients in a holistic manner. As such, TLC also stands for “Tender Love and Care” which we take in pride!
