Every time you get paid or receive unexpected money put something towards your down payment. If all you have is a dollar put the dollar.

Find better employment. I know you are comfortable but it is time to move on to better.

If your credit needs improvement, give it the attention it deserves. If you are unsure how to go about it, feel free to reach out to me for assistance. If you are short on funds, you can watch educational videos on YouTube to learn about how credit works and how to go about fixing it. It's important to take action toward your goal of buying a house and educating yourself on the process.

When I first started listening to Jim Cramer, his language seemed foreign to me. However, I decided to stick with it, and it eventually served as my gateway into the stock and bond market.

I learned the basics of personal finance from experts like Suze Orman and Clarke Howard. They taught me about important concepts like Roth IRAs, 401(k)s, Emergency funds, and credit scores. Nowadays, I see too many people using luxury cars, expensive houses, and designer handbags. These things are often used to create the illusion of wealth or financial expertise, but in reality, many people are just trying to pay last month's lease for that fancy car. It's important to stop falling for these gimmicks and focus on building real wealth instead.

The truth is building wealth takes time. Especially if your focus is setting a strong foundation and then building your way up. With a strong foundation, there’s no going back to zero. One thing I can say on my journey my financial growth has been consistent. I don’t have a skyscraper yet, but I have a strong foundation. And that’s what I teach my clients, how to set their foundation. My approach is very conservative. I don’t believe you have to risk it all. I don’t believe we have to invest in things you don’t understand.

My goal is to assist as many families as possible in navigating the financial world. I prioritize helping them get out of debt, build an emergency fund, create a retirement portfolio, and ensure that they have the necessary documents in place in case of any tragedy.

This is what taking a chance looks like. What stepping out in faith looks like. What jumping looks like. What doing it scared looks like.

Not because it’s popular means, it’s for you.

I refuse to complain about the price of gas. Instead, I'm thankful for the ability to pay for it. I remember too well in 2008 when gas was high. We had to put our gas on our credit card and continued to work on our finance. However, not this time around.

So I'm not going to complain. Instead, I will continue to declare over my life and family life that all our needs and wants are met. And would suggest you do the same.

Something miraculous happens when you continue to stay in the attitude of gratitude. Instead of complaining about things you have no control over.

I want to encourage you to be mindful of the things you announce. Complaining will not make gas prices get any cheaper. Additionally, if the gas price is putting a strain on your budget, that’s a clear indicator that you don’t have enough income, and maybe that should be your focus.

Don't allow yourself to get caught up in the trends and what’s popular on social media. It can be dangerous.
