Happy World Bicycle Day!
Today we’re celebrating creativity in motion. Just like a bike ride, art can take us anywhere.
This collage by 5th grader, Ryan M., celebrates the joy of movement, creativity, and seeing the world through a child’s eyes.

Fourth graders at P.S. 361 got an inspiring look into creative careers through our LT Program’s NEA Design Unit!
Students welcomed a special guest speaker, Pamela Guest, who shared her journey from animator and illustrator to fashion designer and entrepreneur, giving students insight into the many pathways a career in the arts can take. She also introduced her brand, P**L World, and answered thoughtful questions from our curious fourth graders.
At Studio in a School, guest speakers help bring professional practices and artistic pathways to life by connecting students with working creatives whose stories inspire imagination, confidence, and future possibilities.

Happy World Children’s Day from all of us at Studio in a School!
We believe every child deserves access to art education, not only as a form of creative expression, but as a vital part of their social and emotional development. Through making art, children learn how to recognize and express feelings, build confidence, practice empathy, and make sense of the world around them.
If you believe every child deserves access to art education, please consider supporting our programs. Learn more here: loom.ly/Jm2cZeE.

Thank you Christie's for this very special field trip for our students from PS 363M.
During the visit, students explored the auction house’s renowned collection and even participated in a mock bidding war over Andy Warhol prints, getting a fun and memorable introduction to how art is valued and exchanged.
The experience continued in the galleries, where Studio Artist Instructor Mildor Chevalier guided students in drawing from observation, responding directly to the artworks on view at Christie’s.
We are deeply grateful to Christie’s for their continued support in helping ensure that art is accessible to students across New York City and for creating opportunities that bring learning to life in such an inspiring way.
