Over the years I have had the opportunity to receive training in several areas related to su***de awareness, mental health support, and spiritual resilience.

Not because I planned a career in mental health.

But because I have lived close to despair myself and have spent many years around people who were one step away from giving up.

The trainings include:

• safeTALK – Su***de Alertness Training
• Mental Health First Aid USA
• DBSA Veteran Peer Specialist Certification
• Spiritual Resilience Training – Facilitator & Trainer of Facilitators

These programs teach people how to recognize when someone may be thinking about ending their life and how to respond with compassion, presence, and support.

For me, these certificates are not about titles.

They represent conversations.

Conversations with veterans.
Conversations with homeless men and women.
Conversations with people who felt invisible, forgotten, or overwhelmed by life.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer another human being is simple:

To notice them.
To listen to them.
To remind them they are not alone.

Many lives have been saved simply because someone was willing to sit down and have a real conversation.

So I remain grateful for the training and the people who trusted me with their stories.

If you see someone struggling, do not look away.

Start a conversation.

It might matter more than you realize.

A God-Approved Atheist

My first assignment after becoming an Atheist who couldn’t quite “dump God” was… interesting. I got hired as an End-of-Life Specialist—a “Patient-Care Specialist” assigned to what they called the Going-to-Heaven Unit. There, I saw patients terrified to take their last breath, convinced they were about to burn in hell for all eternity because of the very things that had led them to that bed.

This was during the crack and AIDS epidemic. I remember saying to God, “Okay, when this assignment is over, I’m really gonna be an Atheist.” But there was no way I was going to let those taking their last breath believe that God was an A-hole. So I talked with them about who God really is, the purpose of their life, and that they were going to Heaven—and to please remind God that I’m still down here. I even asked them to throw down a few blessings from Heaven if they didn’t mind.

I literally kicked Christians with Bibles off the floor when they came shouting prayers and warning the dying about hell. One woman was asking a man who was minutes from death, “Do you want to wake up in hell? Then accept Jesus as your savior!” I stepped in and told her and her prayer crew to bounce—get out.

My job was to protect the true image of God… while trying to be an Atheist for God.

I guess that makes me a God-Approved Atheist.

Seriously, God?

It’s very difficult—very challenging—to try to “Believe” in something or somebody when you don’t even know what “Believe” really means. That thought hit me yesterday when one of God’s Bible-reading, church-going, crying-out-to-the-Lord people told me that if I don’t “Believe” in Jesus, my soul will be lost. Then came the question: “Do you want your soul to be lost?”

I was like, Seriously, God? If that’s the choice, I’d rather spend eternity with the rejected, the denied, the not-good-enough—even for God. I’m not trying to spend eternity surrounded by those labeled as “blessed,” hanging out in Heaven shouting and thanking God, while others are left out, hurting, and forgotten.

There’s no joy in me when someone else is in tears. No peace in me when another soul is rejected or denied. If love is real, then let it reach the ones nobody wants. That’s where I’d rather be.

The Violent God and the Black Child

Let’s tell the truth — not the Sunday-school version.

God didn’t watch His son die.
According to the story, He had Him killed.

And when that son — terrified, tortured — cried out,
“Father, please remove this bitter cup from me,”
God said nothing.
He refused.

That silence is familiar.
It’s the same silence the Black Child hears
when they pray for the violence at home to stop.
When they whisper, “God, please make Mama stop beating me.”
And nothing changes.

How could it?
Their parent worships the same violent God —
the one who murdered His own son and called it Love.

So the cycle keeps spinning.
The belt becomes the cross.
The whooping becomes the crucifixion.
And the Black Child becomes the next offering.

Religion taught us that Love must hurt,
that pain is holy,
that obedience is proved by suffering.

But if that’s Love,
then the word has lost its meaning.

If violence is divine,
then peace has no chance.

The Black Child doesn’t need saving from hell —
they need saving from the hands that call pain “discipline”
and from the pulpits that call it “holy.”

Stop worshipping the violence.
Stop teaching pain as Love.
Stop killing our children in the name of God.

I noticed that the smell of meat bothers me now...
I also been thinking that to really transform Humans into Angels
It will require Humans stopping the intake of meat.
Meat is considered "Dead-Food" and there is such a thing as
'Live-Food'...Foods that grow vs food that needed to be killed...
It is Things Humans put into it is responsible for over
90 percent of not being Human No-Mo.....
I'm tryin to get all my Kids off of it...
So far-Dey aint wit-it-at-all...
I got a litttle over 25 more years of life...
2050 will be my year: My 89th Year as a Human...
