Future Leaders Institute Charter School

Future Leaders Institute Charter School Future Leaders Institute is a tuition-free public charter school serving grades K-8 in Harlem, NY.

FLI was founded in 2005 by a group of individuals who believed deeply that all students, regardless of their socioeconomic status or ability, should be provided with a challenging academic program that emphasizes academic achievement and educates the whole child. FLI acknowledges the importance of extracurricular activities, sharing exciting project-based learning, rewards, and celebratory incentives as ways to motivate students to succeed in school. These motivations are found in exploratory learning programs, the Extended Day Program, competitive athletic teams, advanced performance groups, Core Value Awards, and special events celebrating students’ work in all areas of the school.

Our first week of Summer Academy was amazing! Summer Academy is filled with engaging lessons, hands-on activities, enrichment, and opportunities for our scholars to continue learning while having fun. And speaking of fun, we had an amazing time on our trip to Movie Theatre today!
