SYI's mission is to provide support services and programming to first-time full-time freshman as well as transfer students who enter as sophomores.
The SYI program aims to promote academic success, retention and persistence, increase rate of progress to graduation, facilitate student early selection of a major area of study, and to encourage campus and community engagement .

Our final information session will be held on February 4 at 3:30 PM in the Career Conference Room (231 Shuster Hall) to hear more from current Lehman Students in the Program.
