TEST PREPARATION:

Is your child preparing for a standardized test? At Take Note, we believe in giving students a set of tools that will help them find success not only on their upcoming test, but will also help them excel in their future academic pursuits. Our unique mix of conventional and unconventional teaching methods are proven to help raise your child’s scores and, even more importantly, to increase his or her overall confidence. APPLICATION CONSULTATION:

The college application essay is the most important part of the application process, especially for elite institutions. We can help your student craft an essay that is unique and personal. Students often need guidance telling their story. Take Note’s educators have years of writing experience and help students find their own personal voice. Our students have been accepted to graduate and undergraduate programs at top schools including Yale, Columbia, and Dartmouth. MUSIC LESSONS:

At Take Note, we believe that music lessons should be fun and educational. We offer piano lessons, voice lessons, and combination piano/voice lessons for students of all ages. The most important part of a lesson is that students gain a love of music while also learning professionalism and discipline as music lessons progress. Activities, games, and well-known songs are incorporated into lessons so that students look forward to meeting each week. Our students also have the chance to perform in two recitals each year at Lincoln Center.
