Hi guys!

We currently have a few zoukers already volunteering here thanks to Ms Georgia Desmond.

In case anyone is free to join, there is a program that prepares and delivers food for people who are immunocompromised and can’t leave home right now. They are really desperate for volunteers, do a good job of enforcing social distancing inside, and it’s a really important cause right now. So, if you’re bored or feeling cabin feverish you should definitely join... See you there!

Help us make deliveries to our client's home using your own car. We will send you will 5-7 stops to a Manhattan neighborhood to deliver meals to our client's.

At Zouk Connect NYC, we strive to create a safe space for our community and dancers.

In the interest of your safety and the safety of those around you, please refrain from attending social events if:

- "You have any flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing

- "You returned from travel in the last 3 weeks that has had sustained local transmission (not just a travel ban/warning).

- "You have had close physical contact with a person currently under investigation for COVID-19, or whom is a confirmed case of COVID-19

We will be issuing full refunds if anyone feels ill and cannot make the event. Kindly note that we have the right to refuse anyone that appears ill or has a fever.

"If you are healthy and do attend a social or event, please wash, wash, wash your hands. If alcohol-based hand sanitizer of at least 60% alcohol content is unavailable to you, please wash your hands with soap and water for a minimum 20 seconds (long enough to sing “Happy Birthday” to yourself twice) as frequently as possible. Avoid touching your face and avoid touching other people’s faces."

Zoukeros e Zoukeras,

We are pleased to announce a new zouk social in NYC, Zouk Amor, focused on connection...connection between you and your partner, between you and the music, and between you and your body. Lunna Gomes will be taking you through a workshop and then Lunna and Vicious Vinícius de Souza will be DJing until at least 3am.

It's $20 at the door and $15 if you purchase tomorrow or Wednesday. Please venmo Lunna-Gomes Tuesday or Wednesday for an early purchase discount.

At Zouk Connect NYC, our mission is to connect you with the zouk dance community, it's dancers, the music, and yourself with new socials and experiences. We want to give you the opportunity to learn and grow as dancers as well as organizers, teachers, DJs, promoters, and more. Let us know if you're interested to get involved!
