oice training as part of her voice lessons and uses the principles of Somatic Voicework™. She completed Somatic Voicework™ training I II and III in 2007 and 2020. In class she recognizes posture and breathing, physical coordination and kinesthetic conditioning, aural acuity, and visual feedback. Starting her career as a singer as an adult, Gabriele understands deeply and compasionately how to help adults jump start their love for singing. She loves giving adults of mature age the skills to develop their passion, singing, something they always wanted to pursue but life got in the way. Having managed and taught an early childhood music program called Music Together® for 23 years makes Gabriele the perfect teacher for children. Gabriele has a very natural way with children and enjoys them thoroughly. She gets herself onto the level of the child and helps her/him develop skills in a playful way. In that respect, you will find her to be a rare find. Singing is a holistic experience
Gabriele has a background in Hatha Yoga and dance. The physical aspect of singing will be supported with bodywork. Blocks and tensions in the body can be released and help bring the voice to flow freely. Tensions in the voice can also be released through functional training. All students of all ages are an active part of the process of the exercises by sensitizing the body and through feedback. Functional training will show breakthroughs in a short period of time. Her goal is to bring the voice, the mind, the body, and emotions together. In class the students become more and more aware of their bodies. By receiving objetive information about vocal production the student gets a clear understanding of their singing and their unique voice. Deliver that song
Every person is completely unique. Gabriele intends to bring out this uniqueness in each of her students. The final part of each lesson is working on a song. Exploring the challenges of a song, finding the right key and different ways of its treatment, playing with phrasing, changing the feel and even arrange it so it becomes uniquely yours. Gabriele will help you unfold the inner you that makes us all so very special, diverse and wonderfully special. A system for everybody! In class we respect the body and allow it to take time adapting to various stimuli while new responses emerge. With compassion Gabriele allows artists and students to face difficulties and overcome issues. No matter if you are young or old, famous or unknown, talented or talent-not-yet-tapped you will become the best, unique singer you intend to be.
