NYU Latinx Social Work Student Organization Welcome to LSWSO! LSWSO helps students expand their understanding of current health and social welfare issues facing the Latinx population.

We welcome any social work student from NYU SIlver who is interested in joining us to foster a sense of community, activism, and pride in our Latinx cultures. The Latinx Social Work Student Organization (LSWSO) welcomes and supports all students attending NYU Silver School of Social Work and aims to build community among Latinx students. In collaboration with Unlocal, First-Gen Students of Color, NYU Silver Office of Career & Professional Development and Inclusive Engagement & Student Life, this workshop will cover the basics of the U.S. Immigration system and current trends.
