Just received an email discussing the downright ignorance of the Medgar Administration for not responding to the Sandy disaster. This information is from my High School (Brooklyn Tech) and how they responded to the BTHS community. Shame on you William Pollard.....


NOTICE FROM THE BTHS ALUMNI FOUNDATION
As you know NYC was one of several locales hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Brooklyn Tech is serving as an evacuation shelter for those who have been impacted by the storm. Several Tech faculty have lost their homes. Others have been without power for days and many have experienced flooding and damage to their property. We still don't know the full impact on our students who will be returning to school this week. Many lived in Zone A which required evacuation, where homes have experienced significant damage and people have incurred great loss; others lived in Zone B, where there was additional impact.

As the city comes out of this tragedy, there are those in the extended Tech family who need our support. Below is a link that has been set up by the Physical Education Department at Tech to help those teachers who have lost their homes:
