This isn’t the news we wanted to share. 💛

After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to pause Portland Cocktail Week until 2027.

To everyone who applied, planned to attend, or was looking forward to joining us this year, we’re truly sorry. We did everything we could to make this year’s event happen, but we couldn’t promise the experience our community deserves, and that never felt right.

While PDXCW is taking a brief pause, Lush Life isn’t.

We’ll still be bringing you certifications, educational programming, and events throughout the year, and we’re already hard at work making PDXCW 2027 our best one yet.

Portland Cocktail Week is back October 4–8, and we’re officially accepting class submissions for PDXCW 2026.

Whether your expertise is sustainability, bar management, cocktail technique, or something entirely your own, we’re looking for educators with fresh ideas that help move our industry forward.

If your class is selected, you’ll join an incredible lineup of educators and receive round-trip travel to Portland, accommodations, and the opportunity to teach hundreds of hospitality professionals from around the world.

Want to be part of the team that helps bring Portland Cocktail Week 2026 to life?

We’re looking for bartenders, managers, and bar owners who are ready to work hard, learn what goes into producing a world class hospitality event, and have a great time doing it. This year, 50% of our Varsity Squad will be made up of first-time members, so there’s never been a better time to apply.

As a Varsity member, you’ll help shape PDXCW from behind the scenes while receiving travel to Portland, hotel accommodations, meals, local transportation, exclusive experiences, and special gifts from our friends at Old Forester. 🥃
