May 20, 1951–Jackie Robinson arrives at his hotel room in Cincinnati to find two FBI agents, who inform him of a threat made against his life should Robinson play at Crosley field that Sunday. Undeterred by the threat, Robinson goes 2-for-5 in a doubleheader sweep over the Reds.

May 19, 1962–The UCLA Alumni Association honors Jackie Robinson as the Edward A. Dickson Alumnus of the Year at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
