โ‡๏ธ Internship Spotlight: Senior Intake Counselor

"This internship closely aligns with my pathway at Lang by allowing me to apply psychological theory to real-world, relational practice. My studies focus on psychological development, emotion, and social context, so this position allows me to directly engage with young people within those frameworks. Intake interviews and psychosocial assessments have enhanced my understanding of how structural influences, trauma, and access to appropriate supports impact personal functioning. Further, the experience has served to clarify my interest in direct practitioner work, trauma-informed care, and, more broadly, my academic focus on youth development, mental health, and social justice. Ultimately, this internship is something that ties together what we learn in the classroom and what we do out there in the field, through hands-on, relational work in real-world settings." -Lux Einstein (BA Psychology '27)

โ‡๏ธ Internship Spotlight: Social Manager

"The work requires constant filming, editing, and producing short-form video content, all skills that are essential to my development as a filmmaker. Managing the bandโ€™s digital presence also teaches me how to shape visual narratives, understand audience engagement, and communicate creatively across platforms. These experiences strengthen my technical abilities, expand my portfolio, and give me hands-on practice that complements the coursework and artistic training Iโ€™m receiving." -Madison Grimes - Waynes (BA Screen Studies '28) .kid
