Through the generous support of Hunter Alumni the S&W Fund awards more than $1,000,000 in scholarships every year to qualified Hunter College students.
The Scholarship and Welfare Fund, an independent, tax-exempt membership corporation, was established in 1949 by a group of Hunter College graduates to provide financial assistance to qualified students who might not otherwise remain in college. The Fund has continued to give aid to students through the generosity of alumni, friends and families who wish to help today’s students. Visit our website

The S&W Fund welcomes donations in any amount but must receive them by mail or through our website at https://sandwfund.org/giving/.

As a result of the COVID crisis and consequent lack of access to the college's facilities, the Board of Directors has postponed the Annual Meeting to a date to be determined when circumstances permit.
