Parakh Chokshi held a strong and constant presence in the New York University community. She acted as a course assistant in NYU Tandon School of Engineering Tandon and NYU Courant, was a member of the Management and Systems Student Association, and was most notably the President of the International Club at NYU School of Professional Studies working collaboratively with other clubs across NYU. Parakh continuously worked to develop community and belonging among international students.

Such a fun day at our β€œBig Apple Exchange” with !πŸ—½πŸ€ Over lunch and icebreakers our groups of international students got to know each other and fuel up in time for a tour of our Washington Square Campus. After the tour, we broke up into mixed groups for some healthy competition for our NYC scavenger hunt. Thank you to Yale for joining us and we can’t wait to visit your campus soon!

In March, we took Brooklyn students to join the vibrant festivities at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music's Holi celebration in Prospect Park .
