This lecture & demonstration course is designed to effectively provide the information necessary for safe driving. The course includes classroom teaching techniques, preparation of lesson plans, use of visual aids and public speaking. Students will develop sample lessons as a form of practice teaching. Lectures also include discussion of psychophysical testing equipment and techniques for defensive driving. This course meets the DMV's requirements for 30 hours in teaching techniques for instructors of the mandatory 5-hour course.

This comprehensive, hands-on program combines laboratory and classroom instruction in the operation, installation, maintenance, and service of commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems. Students develop practical mechanical and electrical skills while learning to analyze system performance, perform installation and service procedures, and troubleshoot common refrigeration and HVAC system problems.

The program includes 30 hours of specialized heat pump training covering system operation, sizing, installation, refrigerant charging, checkout, and startup procedures.

The Pharmacy Technician Certification Program at New York City College of Technology (City Tech) is a 72-hour, 12-week online training program designed to prepare participants for entry-level employment as pharmacy technicians. The program is a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program and prepares students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

The course provides instruction in medication knowledge, federal and New York State pharmacy requirements, patient safety and quality assurance, prescription and order processing, pharmacy calculations, inventory management, non-sterile compounding, pharmacy administration, billing and reimbursement, and PTCE preparation. Successful completion of the program provides students with the education and training needed to pursue the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential through PTCB.
