Our Lady of Angels & Saint Anselm Celebrate!

Our Lady of Angels and Saint Anselm Parishes celebrated the start of our second year of partnership with a Mass and BBQ on Sunday, September 20th, 2026 at OLA. The rainy day did not dampen the spirits of the more than 350, who came out to attend a beautiful Mass, followed by an indoor BBQ. Even the kids were not forgotten, with treats and rides in the gym.

Thank you Fr. Kevin and a wonderful committee of volunteers who made the day a memorable experience for our parishes!

St. Anselm Summer Blood Drives

This summer St. Anselm Parish hosted two Blood Drives on behalf of the New York Blood Center. On Sunday – July 27th and Sunday – August 23rd, more than 90 donors came to the Academy’s Meletia Hall to share the gift of life. Our thanks to the wonderful personnel of the New York Blood Center, Fr. Kevin and a great committee: Barbara Fabris, Eileen & Peter Loughlin, and Bob Kassenbrock, and “Thank You” to our parishioners and neighbors who came out to support the Blood Drives. Our next Blood Drive will be on Sunday, October 18th.

Colombian Earthquake Relief

Deacon Tom Davis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Deacon - Thomas Davis. Deacon Tom served the parishioners of St. Anselm for many decades. We will miss his caring ministry and his mischievous smile.

There will be a wake on Sunday, July 26, 2026
1 PM - 5 PM; Clavin Funeral Home, 78th St & 4th Ave.

Funeral Mass: Monday, July 27, 2026 at 10 AM; St. Anselm Church
