Doing some loose watercolor painting in sketchbook while baby is napping. She’s finally napping 40+ minutes so I can sneak in time to doodle, yoga, or watch tv. It’s been soooo good now that she’s been sleep trained.

Thank you to those who encouraged me to keep at it! It was worth it after all the crying.

Last year, Davide and I welcomed our first (and only) baby. It was a very long and arduous road and I feel for any person who wants to start a family and encounters a lot of obstacles.

For this Mother’s Day, my only hope is that I can leave the world a better place, a cleaner world, and more equal world so that baby can enjoy a beautiful and fruitful future.

Happy May! May is the month to get caught reading and let’s grab a book. Even better, grab a banned book! Since having baby, I’ve been reading only baby books. It’s only been recently that I started reading again. I started with Precious Little Sleep which I read to the baby as part of her sleep training routine. I also just finished Ling Ma’s collection “Bliss Montage” and it was a blend of dystopia, romance, and memoir style. It really made me want to read more books!

Reading good book begets the needs to read more good books. What are you reading now?
