Success Academy Charter Schools

♟️ We went to Baltimore and we SHOWED UP!

This weekend, 99 Success Academy scholars from 14 schools competed in the 2026 K-6 Elementary Chess National Championships and brought home some incredible results:

🥇 SA Upper West - 1st place, K-6 U1200 (out of 30+ schools)
🥇 SA Harlem 2 - 1st place, K-3 U600 (out of 43 schools)
🥈 SA Midtown West - 2nd place in the nation, K-6 Championship
🥉 SA Midtown West - 3rd place, K-5 Championship

For many of our scholars, this was their very first national competition and they showed the country exactly what Success Academy scholars are made of.

The future just walked through our hallways. ✨

Career Day had our scholars stepping into their dreams: doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, artists, and more. The vision and confidence on display? Unmatched.

These kids are not waiting for the future. They are already building it. 💛

Our choir and band traveled to the WorldStrides Heritage Festival to stand alongside programs from across the country, and they did not just show up; they cleaned up!

This is what it looks like when hard work meets its moment. Months of early mornings, late rehearsals, and dedication on full display. Whatever the scoreboard says, the growth in that room was undeniable.

Union Square took our March Madness campaign and made it their own. This community did not come to play, they came to WIN. Families rallied, voices were heard, and the results? Absolutely incredible.

Our scholars took their curiosity to Central Park, diving into the world of animals across one of the most iconic parks on the planet. The energy and excitement said it all.

This is what our robust field study program is all about. Taking learning beyond four walls and putting scholars in the spaces where knowledge actually comes alive.

First place was always the plan. 🏁

Our scholars hit the Penn Relays this weekend at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, held annually since 1895 with over 15,000 athletes competing, from high schoolers to Olympians.

The Prep School Division puts us on the same track as the most elite private school programs in the country. Same clock. No excuses and no exceptions.

And when the dust settled? We came in first.
