New year, new ways to learn, grow, and compete.
We’re kicking off the school year with some exciting updates across Success Academy, all designed to give our scholars more opportunities to challenge themselves, discover new passions, and build skills that last far beyond the classroom.
➗ Meet the Mathletes: For the first time ever, SA is launching a Network Math Team! Our middle school Mathletes will train for and compete in some of the nation’s top math competitions, going problem-for-problem with the best young mathematicians in the country. :brain::trophy:
📱iPads are here: We’re saying goodbye to Chromebooks and hello to iPads, giving scholars a new tool for learning, creating, and exploring.
🏊♂️ Every scholar learns to swim: Swimming is more than a sport. It’s a life skill. That’s why swimming is now a required part of the SA experience, helping ensure our scholars build confidence and skills that can keep them safe for life.
♟️More games, more grades: Games are expanding across our Network from 2nd through 8th grade! Strategy, problem-solving, critical thinking, and healthy competition all make play serious business when it comes to developing sharp minds.
📖 More time to fall in love with reading: We’re deepening our commitment to reading culture at every stage. From wordless picture books in Kindergarten, to new reading groups in Middle School, to dedicated daily independent reading time in High School, we’re intentionally making room in the school day for something simple but powerful: the pleasure of a great book.
With new tools, traditions, and challenges, our belief in what our scholars can achieve is bigger than ever.
