This mistake kept my anxiety high for years.
For years, I thought my anxiety meant I wasn’t capable.
So I overcompensated.
I overworked.
I overprepared.
I overcommitted.
The mistake?
Trying to control outcomes instead of supporting my capacity.
Anxiety gets loud when there’s:
• No margin
• No containment
• No thinking partner
• No support
High-functioning doesn’t mean well-supported.
Once I built structure into my process, my anxiety didn’t disappear — but it stopped driving.
You don’t have to white-knuckle your goals.
Support is strategy.

Scrolling won’t fix your problem — but this will.
Scrolling feels productive.
You’re “researching.”
You’re “learning.”
You’re “getting ideas.”
But most of the time?
It’s avoidance dressed up as preparation.
You don’t need another tip.
You don’t need another thread.
You don’t need another system.
You need:
• Contained focus
• Accountability
• A regulated space to execute
Information doesn’t create momentum.
Action does.
And action is easier when you’re not doing it alone.
If you’re done scrolling and ready to move, I’ve got you. 💛

I chose self-care over productivity and that has made all the difference.
I used to treat self-care like a reward.
Something you got after you finished everything.
But the work was never finished.
The inbox never empty.
The list never done.
So I stayed exhausted.
The shift wasn’t doing more.
It was regulating first.
When I chose self-care before productivity:
• My thinking got clearer
• My decisions got easier
• My follow-through improved
• My anxiety lowered
Productivity isn’t about pressure.
It’s about capacity.
If you’re building something meaningful, your nervous system matters.
And if you need structure + support while you grow, that’s what Second Chair is for. 💛
